We traveled to Europe
with our friends Gary Meltz and Kathy McDaniel. We stayed ten nights
in Croatia and three in Paris. We didn't know a lot about Croatia
when we booked our trip; it was a rebound choice after we had
aborted a planned Baltic cruise. But it turned out to be one of our
most memorable vacations, including its tables.

Croatia -
While we usually plan the details of our vacations, from start to
finish, Croatia proved to be problematic. Our itinerary included two
islands, which complicated transportation. So after a bit of
research, we enlisted Leonidas Travel to orchestrate our stay in
the Republic of Croatia. |

Paris -
We once again ended our European vacation with three nights in
Paris. We once again stayed at Hotel de l'Abbaye in the Saint
Germain district. We once again walked, shopped and people watched.
And we once again ate some incredible food. |
